Uni-ball asked me to build a flash game for the launch of their new pen, the Fanthom.

They already had a clear idea: the game had to be a casual game, based on the popular Luxor.
On this project I worked with Julien, who built the game engine in Flash, and the DB part, while I worked on the game design and graphics.
It was a fun project to work on, with all these halloweenish illustrations to create — I just wish we had more time to add extra features…

The game has the following specs:

• 17 different levels, of increasing difficulty (levels loop endlessly, so level 18 is the same as level 1, only faster etc.)
• 4 different types of bonus
• Highscores, updated daily
• Simple backend to generate CSV for the client
• Automated daily mails sent to winners and project managers

It’s in french, but I think that the gameplay is quite easy to understand…

Google needed a couple of B2B videos to explain the benefits of their Mobile Ads service to potential clients.

They wanted something visually simple, that would match Google identity and tone, didactic, and short. It should also be generic enough to be easy to localize in several languages. We didn’t have much time, and went for something quite minimal.

I was responsible of the global direction of the project, visual choices, and animation production.

Visuals were also declined in a couple of give-aways: eco bags, notebooks, etc.

The french magazine Chronic’Art asked me a couple of illustrations for their 63th issue, which main theme was Gonzo journalism and its modern heritage.
I designed the cover illustration, and the double page illustration for the main topic.

Yokata.jp is a free webservice for Japanese mobile phones.
It allows its users to provide a simple feedback about any live performance (music, theater, etc.), in real-time, with the use of QR-codes.

They needed a bunch of characters to represent the diversity of their users, that they could use in their communication, mostly print and video.

This, is the 3rd version of the USN website. And after the “quick and simple” one, the HTML/CSS/AJAX one, It was the time for the Full-Flash version!

It was part of a pitch for a tool for Nissay (日本生命保険相互会社)‘s sales department.

elmonstruodecoloresnotieneboca is an artistic project and a journey worldwide to collect dreams written by kids in different countries, to be illustrated by artists.
Kids from Mexico, Spain, Brazil, France, Cuba and Germany have participated since 2002.

Roger Omar asked me to participate, here is the dream that I picked:

I dreamed that I was sleeping and it started to get really hot. I got outside and the sky was red, and I got inside the fridge and stayed there for 2 weeks. I woke up, left the refrigerator and the sky was still red. After one year the sky recovered its natural color.
