I stumbled today on an interesting idea on the Japanese website of Domino’s Pizza.

When you have ordered a pizza online (after a fastidious registration process, as only Japanese site have the secret), you are invited to follow in “real-time” the progression of the making of your pizza.

Since you will need to register and actually order a pizza to see it, here is a video that gives a good idea:

The video integrates your name, your order, and your geo location with a nice usage of Google Maps API. I guess this is the japanese version of the US site. A fine localization work.

The next step would be to add GPS positioning on the delivery scooters, to be able to track exactly the delivery boy during his run…

The “Muscial Creativity and the Environment” section of Tokyo University of the Arts (東京芸術大学 音楽環境創造科) needed a website.

They wanted something simple and clear, and not too directly related to the world of the music.
I focused on a simple layout, black and white, with only #ffff00 yellow.

KLM’s Flightclub was the first community website created by an airline company. The Flightclub was a place for Japanese frequent travelers to share experiences about their favorite places. Good restaurants, hotels, hot spot, nice club, funny anecdotes…

The project, launched in 2007 won an Innovation awards at the global KLM marketing yearly seminar.

Design, development and integration of a fully multilingual website (Japanese and English) for a Japanese IT consulting company.
Strict XHTML 1.0 and CSS, unobtrusive Javascript, clean URLs for easy bookmark and referencing, and a lightweight administration panel for easy contents edition. The website requires no database, all contents are stored in text files.

Moblip beta is a free mobile bookmarking webservice developed for Tokyo Office Co. Ltd.

It allows the user to easily bookmark any web page in a browser, and then to be able access it from a mobile device on your personal “moblip page” (PDA, cellphone, etc.). No registration is required.
